a visit to Genoa, Italy

Genoa reminded me a lot of Marseille and its surrounding area. The one big difference though, besides the obvious (we are speaking about two entirely different countries here) was the fact that the architecture has a way of making a person feel so utterly small. Massive. That was the approximate size of those buildings and archways. They were simply massive and I felt like an ant looking up at them. Perhaps that’s the way Marie Axelle feels in our presence…her little neck straining to tilt her head up enough so that she can make eye contact with us.

Love and light,

Danielle
