a bit of La Ciotat

our little movie theatre

look who’s in town now, the king of second hand

The kids were totally exhausted this evening. We’ve been putting in extra activities into our days and coming home around 19:00 in the evening. This is totally out of the ordinary as I usually like to have them bathed by 17:30, eating by 18:30 and in bed between 19:30 and 20:00. These hours seem rather odd to people here as they don’t think anything of taking their preschoolers to activities that start at 17:00. It’s not better or worse, it’s just different. Every country has their own theory on when kids should eat, sleep, learn, rest, etc., etc.

In Sweden, my friends would start cooking for their kids around 17:00. Here in France, they look at me like I have five heads when I say that. Anyway, between being extra social and my late night writing (trying to make my little English class grow in terms of creativity!) I’m wrecked. I’d better rest up tonight though because tomorrow is girls night out. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have the ability to get dressed up, hang out with friends and enjoy a nice meal. It will be nice to just feed myself for once ;)

Love and light,
