oh you saw that?

The festival was great! It was a rather windy day though so it made it pretty cold but despite the crowd (and having to walk though it with a stroller) we had a very nice time. We had some of our friends from Marseille join us for the actual festival and then we met another group for a drink on the port and then later another group came to our house for dinner.

Dinner was cut a little short though since I had a bit of a scare and had to go to the hospital to check that everything was OK. Fortunately the trip to the hospital at 22:00 was only a “practice run” though and the doctors reassured me that what I had gone through was just a result of the baby being so low, preparing herself for her big debut. All in all I’m very happy with the care that I’ve been getting from the French medical system. I find it amazing that I can come to this country and get 100% coverage just like that. Things like this are only a dream in places like the U.S.

Love and light,
