We took the short ride out to Le Castellet this afternoon and it was well worth it. The small village is gorgeous and the drive there was beautiful as well. I still have a hard time believing that we live here. The south of France is just spectacular and I’m so happy to be able to explore it little by little. The village itself was full of tourists and all of the small restaurants and cafés were full of people. Oh the luxury of eating in a restaurant, when will we have that again? Our little boy doesn’t sit still long enough for us to be able to eat in restaurants…sigh…Still though, what a beautiful little village.

Love and light,

Danielle

    Danielle,

I just happened upon your blog. I lived in La Ciotat on the beach for a few months about ten years ago. I have such fond memories of a trip we took to Le Castellet. Your photos bring it all back to life.

I now have an almost 4 year old and almost 2 year old, and I dream about bringing them to France to show them around. I really look forward to reading your blog, it is beautifully written.
