a place to call home

What a difference a good night’s rest makes. Yesterday morning Pierre and I both woke up with the same thought in mind, that we should take the first apartment that we visited the day before. Sure, it’s smaller, but it’s also well equipped and new and so what if we have to put most of our stuff in storage? We probably won’t miss the stuff anyway. Also, it’s within walking distance to La Ciotat’s Vieux Port which makes it great for me and for the people who come to visit. So, with that in mind, he made a call yesterday to book the place!! Yes!! Relief!!!

Today’s top picture is of Théo who “helped” me go through his old clothes and baby items last night. He was so proud to learn that he is in possession of so much clothing, albeit too small! The next two pictures were taken in a friend’s backyard this morning. They have installed the most wonderful hammock and all I can say is that it was hard for me to part with it.

Love and light,
