cards, it’s not a fast process

November 29, 2010 § 3 Comments

Théo and I made a Christmas card today. I wish that I could say that we made more than one but it took a while for the little guy to work his magic on his yellow piece of paper.  I added a reindeer for the part of the card that makes you go “Ohhhh, it’s a Christmas card!” and with that, he made his first card ever.

The good news is that he made his first card but the bad news is that you probably won’t be getting one. Not because we don’t love you or anything but because it just takes too darn long. Let’s just say that this one is strictly for grandparents.

I took a picture of the view from one of Théo’s bedroom windows today. It’s crazy how you can have one view that’s totally fitting with the country that you live in and then, months later, have a view so different (in a another country) that you might as well have landed on the moon! The world is a big place. I think that people tend to forget that.  There’s so much to see and so much to learn and so many different kinds of people who can share their experiences with us. Different is good.

Love and light,

You have a long play ride coming up with a special little boy, perhaps that time consuming activity would be fun to do then! A pile of construction paper and a pack of Crayolas could go a long way!
