dinner with friends

November 27, 2010 § 2 Comments

We had friends over for dinner tonight and I can’t help but to be thankful that we have met such a lovely couple and that they have a boy who  is just as sweet as can be. Pierre was just telling me how much he enjoyed watching the two of them play together. The way they “spoke” to one another, shared toys and interacted was a true pleasure to watch. I find kids so wonderful, in part, because they are not afraid of letting their true emotions show. When they are happy, they are elated. When they are in pain, they cry out loud. It’s simple yet very effective.

So tonight I’m thankful for our new friends and I’m also thankful for my buddy Alejandra (who lives in Sweden) for inspiring me to be more open, available and spontaneous – life is too short for anything else.

Love and light,

thank you for the flowers Aurélie!!!
